Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Snake Arena website (snakegames.in) handles. The short version: we do not ask who you are, we do not want to know, and your game progress never leaves your device.

What we store on your device (localStorage)

• Best score — used to unlock skins and shown on game-over.
• Selected skin — remembers which skin you last chose.
• Sound preference — whether sound effects are muted.

This information is stored only in your browser. It is not transmitted to us, cannot be recovered by us, and disappears if you clear site data for this site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to understand aggregate usage — which games get played and how often tutorials are read. Events include things like "a classic-mode game ended" and "the Python tutorial was viewed". Analytics data contains no names, emails, or account identifiers, because none exist. You can block Google Analytics with any standard browser extension or by blocking googletagmanager.com.

What we do not do

• No accounts or sign-ups
• No advertising or ad trackers
• No selling or sharing of data — there is no personal data to sell
• No cookies set by us beyond the localStorage entries above

Children

Snake Arena is safe for all ages. Our Scratch tutorial is written for younger learners, and the site collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
