Snake Arena loads in under two seconds on mobile data because it is hand-built on the browser's canvas — no game engine, no bloated framework, no downloads. The tick-based engine runs a fixed 120 ms grid step in Classic (140 ms in Maze) with input buffering, so quick double-taps never send your snake backwards into itself.
