SNAKE ARENA

Dodge walls and obstacles while you grow. Arrows or swipe to steer.

What maze mode changes

Everything from Classic still applies: 24×24 grid, +10 points per food, death on walls or your own body. The difference is a set of fixed obstacle layouts — Pillars, Gates, and Twin Walls — chosen at random each run. Touching an obstacle ends the run exactly like a wall would.

The tick rate starts at 140 ms instead of Classic's 120 ms. That small breathing room matters when a food spawn sits behind a pillar and you need to route around it instead of bee-lining straight.

Maze strategy basics

  • Learn the three layouts — after two or three runs you will recognize which one loaded instantly.
  • Never enter a pocket without an exit; obstacles make self-traps much easier.
  • Treat obstacle corners like walls: give yourself a buffer cell of space.
  • Food never spawns inside obstacles, but it can spawn in awkward pockets — decide the approach route before you turn.
